Reflections on Presentations for the Week of April 3 and 5
Summary
I was extremely impressed with how well the students at Curtis Strange did on their Storykits. The 8 presentations that we saw on April 5 were well put together and the students put a lot of thought into their projects and presentations. I was really impressed with how quiet and respectful the students were to each other during the presentations. I do not think that I have ever seen a group of kids that big are that quite for that amount of time. I was also very impressed with how the students were when the first student presented and stumbles over some of the words; the students just helped him out without making him feel bad.
Both of my buddies present on April 17, so I talked with them right before we left and just encouraged them to have fun, dress up if they wanted to, and talk really loud. I am a little concerned about one of my buddies and her voice recordings. She was talking quietly when we recorded, so I just have to remember to remind her to turn volume all the way up on her iPad when she presents. I am looking forward to seeing them present!
